The Hobby Shop

The Hobby Shop Studio is the brainchild of two transplanted Bostonians: Musician/composer Scott Gilman and Producer/engineer Andrew ‘mudrock’ murdock. Formed in 2004, The Hobby Shop opened just in time to record the platinum selling release ‘City of Evil’ for Avenged Sevenfold. In the seven years since, many great names have recorded or mixed at The Hobby Shop, including Riverboat Gamblers, Lou Barlow, Mark Lanagan, Powerman 5000, Kristin Hersh, Airborne Toxic Event, The Bravery and Black Francis, to name a
