Kim Newman

Writer

Kim Newman is a novelist, critic and broadcaster.  His fiction includes The Night Mayor, Bad Dreams, Jago, the Anno Dracula novels and stories, The Quorum, The Original Dr Shade and Other Stories, Life’s Lottery, Back in the USSA (with Eugene Byrne) and The Man From the Diogenes Club under his own name and The Vampire Genevieve and Orgy of the Blood Parasites as Jack Yeovil.  His non-fiction books include Ghastly Beyond Belief (with Neil Gaiman), Horror: 100 Best Books (with Stephen Jones), Wild West Movies, The BFI Companion to Horror, Millennium Movies and BFI Classics studies of Cat People and Doctor Who.  He is a contributing editor to Sight & Sound and Empire magazines (writing Empire’s popular Video Dungeon column), has written and broadcast widely on a range of topics, and scripted radio and television documentaries.  His stories ‘Week Woman’ and ‘Ubermensch’ have been adapted into an episode of the TV series The Hunger and an Australian short film; he has directed and written a tiny film Missing Girl; he co-wrote the West End play The Hallowe’en Sessions.  Following his Radio 4 play ‘Cry Babies’, he wrote episodes for Radio 7’s series The Man in Black (‘Phish Phood’) and Glass Eye Pix’ Tales From Beyond the Pale (‘Sarah Minds the Dog’).  His official web-site can be found at www.johnnyalucard.com.  His most recent publications are expanded reissues of the Anno Dracula series and The Hound of the d’Urbervilles (from Titan) and a much-expanded edition of Nightmare Movies (from Bloomsbury).  Johnny Alucard, the fourth Anno Dracula novel, appeared in 2013; his next novel will be An English Ghost Story.  He is on Twitter as @AnnoDracula.

Glenn McQuaid

Director & Producer

Writer director Glenn McQuaid was born and raised on the North side of Dublin. McQuaid’s first Collaboration with Larry Fessenden came about when he coordinated the visual effects on THE ROOST. Since then he has worked on several of Glass Eye Pix productions including THE LAST WINTER, HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and STAKELAND. McQuaid’s feature debut I Sell the Dead was a festival favorite that sold to IFC and is currently available to rent or buy at all decent retailers. He is currently curating TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, and developing various feature projects.

Julian Maile

Guitar

is a musician and composer based in NYC. Highlights include: playing “that’s what friends are for” with Stevie Wonder at AMFAR, “pump it up” with Elvis Costello at Night of a Thousand Stars, and “lola” with Ray Davies in his hotel room. Occasional forays into theatricals include the role of Shkp in the original production ofHedwig and the Angry Inch. He is a longtime member of the Loser’s Lounge band which has a long standing following at Joe’s Pub.

Sam Sadigursky

Flute & Clarinet

Saxophonist, multi-reedist and composer Sam Sadigursky has performed with, among others, the Mingus Orchestra, ECM recording artist Anat Fort, pianist Brad Mehldau, grammy- nominated Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society, and Colombian singer Lucia Pulido. He appears on numerous recordings for labels such as Fresh Sound/New Talent, EMI, Playscape Recordings, Chonta Records, and World Culture Music and has played in New York venues such as Brooklyn Academy of Music, Joeʼs Pub, and Lincoln Center and worldwide. John Moros

Live Sound Design

has been a core member of DigIt Audio since 2002. John has had a varied past in the world of film, working as a locations sound mixer, a stop motion animator, and motion picture camera repairman. His passion has always been sound and his recent credits include shorts, features, documentaries and video games including sound editor on SKETCHES OF FRANK GEHRY and SOUL POWER, dialogue editor on HALF NELSON and foley editor on SUGAR. John Moros is a drummer and musician as well.

Sound Record

has been working at DigIt Audio since 2008 as a technical engineer and sound editor. He was sound editor on BITTER FEAST, STAKE LAND, THE TILLMAN STORY and UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: REGENERATION, among many other titles. MAN ON THE LEDGE is Sellye’s first radio program.

Shaun Brennan

Live Foley

Shaun Brennan is a Foley Artist by day (and night), and a rock-n- rolla by night (and day). Working in the top sound studios in New York and singing/playing guitar in the rock band Kung Fury. He currently lives in Manhattan and has been creating custom sound effects for films, television, radio plays and video games for more than nine years with over 120 film credits to date. Shaun studied Fine Art in Philadelphia and Photography in Northern Virginia, and has been writing and performing music since grade school. Other interests include, home recording with a variety of instruments and household products, marathon running, graphic design, writing, animals, people, collage and more…

Kate Bilinski

Additional Sound Design

A Berklee graduate with a penchant for making noise, Kate Bilinski is a New York based sound designer, editor, and composer. Present in both the film and advertising worlds, she currently works with Dig It Audio Inc, and Big Foote Music and Sound and has collaborated with clients from Google to Disney and Sesame Street. Her credits include films such as Days and Nights, L’Historie Sordide de Dave Grigger, and Cold Comes the Night. In the last few years, she has participated in artists residences in the United States, Europe and Latin America, including Performing Daily Practice at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and Castello in Movimento, in Fosidonvo Italy. If you happen to catch her outside of the studio, she might be attempting a gravity-defying yoga pose (with varying degrees of success), training for a half marathon, or simply enjoying a rather large coffee.

Beck Underwood

Production Design

is a NYC artist, animator, designer and enabler responsible for the art direction on the Glass Eye productions NO TELLING, I SELL THE DEAD, BITTER FEAST and STAKE LAND. She created the on-line film festival CREEPY CHRISTMAS and animated the short films THAT CREEPY OLD DOLL, PHANTOM LIMB, PERFECTLY PERFECT, MARIONETTE, and UNCLE BEN. In another life she was publisher of the NYC based children’s periodical ZUZU which was distributed throughout the tri-state area and on-line.

Sarah Jones

Stage Manager

is an actress/light designer/sound designer/playwright with an MFA in playwriting from the Actors Studio Drama School and is a current member of the Playwright/Directors Workshop at The Actorʼs Studio. Larry Fessenden

Producer

Is the director of the art-horror films NO TELLING, HABIT, WENDIGO, THE LAST WINTER and BENEATH. He is a producer on dozens of projects in and out of the horror genre including STAKE LAND, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, I SELL THE DEAD, THE COMEDY, and WENDY AND LUCY as well as the audio series TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, created with the mad Irishman Glenn McQuaid. Fessenden has operated Glass Eye Pix since 1985 with the mission of supporting individual voices in the arts.
