Joe Maggio’s first film, VIRGIL BLISS (2001), was nominated for two 2002 Independent Spirit Awards — The John Cassavetes Award (for best feature under $500,000) and Best Debut Performance (for actor Clint Jordan.) VIRGIL BLISS was purchased for theatrical distribution by First Run Features, and for North American cable by The Sundance Channel. VIRGIL BLISS was also theatrically released to critical acclaim throughout the United Kingdom. Joe’s second film, MILK + HONEY (2003) premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. It won a Special Jury Prize for Best Screenplay at the 2003 Atlanta Film Festival and was acquired by Wellspring Media. PAPER COVERS ROCK, Joe’s third feature, premiered at the 2008 SXSW Film Festival and was purchased by IFC Films for worldwide VOD and DVD distribution. His fourth feature, BITTER FEAST, will premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June 2010. He is currently in post-production on his fifth film, THE LAST RITES OF JOE MAY.

Dave Eggar
Musician - Cello
is no stranger to Glass Eye Pix, having worked with in-house composer Jeff Grace on several scores over the years including THE ROOST, TRIGGER MAN, THE LAST WINTER, I SELL THE DEAD, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, BITTER FEAST and STAKE LAND, in which he also appeared on screen. Eggar additionally contributed to the Fessenden TV show “SKIN AND BONES†and the short SANTA CLAWS: No job too modest for this maestro of the cello. Eggar’s musical genius stretches far beyond Glass Eye Pix, however…
Eggar was a musical prodigy as a child, beginning to play the cello and piano at age three and performing on Broadway and at the Metropolitan Opera at age seven. He trained as a classical cellist at The Juilliard School, and later graduated from Harvard University and The Juilliard School’s Doctoral Program. He debuted in Carnegie Hall at 15 as the youngest winner in the history of the Artists International competition. He has appeared throughout the world as a classical soloist, including concerto appearances at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, London’s Barbican Center, the Paris Opera, and the Hollywood Bowl.
Eggar has performed and recorded with artists in numerous genres, including The Who, Coldplay, John Denver, Ornette Coleman, Josh Groban, Roberta Flack, Bon Jovi, and dozens of others. Eggar signed with Domo Records in 1998 and released three albums.

has been a core member of DigIt Audio since 2002. John has had a varied past in the world of film, working as a locations sound mixer, a stop motion animator, and motion picture camera repairman. His passion has always been sound and his recent credits include shorts, features, documentaries and video games including sound editor on SKETCHES OF FRANK GEHRY and SOUL POWER, dialogue editor on HALF NELSON and foley editor on SUGAR. John Moros is a drummer and musician as well.

Shaun Brennan is a Foley Artist by day (and night), and a rock-n- rolla by night (and day). Working in the top sound studios in New York and singing/playing guitar in the rock band Kung Fury. He currently lives in Manhattan and has been creating custom sound effects for films, television, radio plays and video games for more than nine years with over 120 film credits to date. Shaun studied Fine Art in Philadelphia and Photography in Northern Virginia, and has been writing and performing music since grade school. Gisela Fullà-Silvestre is a composer/sound designer from Barcelona based in Brooklyn.
She is influenced by foley sounds, strings, audio processing, hip hop, Bach, Iceland, science-fiction, Jarvis Cocker, circuit bending, Mali, flamenco music or kitchen noises.
Some of her credits as a sound editor/sound designer include the recently released MGMT new album trailer. Her sound design for the Prince Rama psych opera was premiered at MOMA this summer. She is credited as assistant sound editor for the last Larry Clark movie Marfa Girl, the sci-fi feature movie The Europa Report (premiered at the Natural History Museum of New York), the movie Days and Nights by Christian Camargo (featuring Katie Holmes and WIlliam Hurt), the sci-fi movie Plus One by Dennis Iliadis ( “The Last House on the Left”), the horror film Beneath by Larry Fessenden among others.
As a composer, Gisela is currently finishing the score for the MTV documentaries RebelMusic. She has done string arrangements for the Oscar winning artist Jorge Drexler. She has written jingles for MTV and other national commercials and has written several scores for movies and theatre plays: the animated movie Bingo (Media Factory LA), the movie Distant Light by Alexander Lau (premiered a the Busan International Festival) or the musical The Awakening (at the Brooklyn Lyceum) among others.
She’s releasing her debut album this fall and is currently working on the music for a puppet opera to be premiered this winter in New York.

is a NYC artist, animator, designer and enabler responsible for the art direction on the Glass Eye productions NO TELLING, I SELL THE DEAD, BITTER FEAST and STAKE LAND. She created the on-line film festival CREEPY CHRISTMAS and animated the short films THAT CREEPY OLD DOLL, PHANTOM LIMB, PERFECTLY PERFECT, MARIONETTE, and UNCLE BEN. In another life she was publisher of the NYC based children’s periodical ZUZU which was distributed throughout the tri-state area and on-line.

He is a producer on dozens of projects in and out of the horror genre including STAKE LAND, THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, I SELL THE DEAD, THE COMEDY, and WENDY AND LUCY as well as the audio series TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, created with the mad Irishman Glenn McQuaid. Writer director Glenn McQuaid was born and raised on the North side of Dublin. McQuaid’s first Collaboration with Larry Fessenden came about when he coordinated the visual effects on THE ROOST. Since then he has worked on several of Glass Eye Pix productions including THE LAST WINTER, HOUSE OF THE DEVIL and STAKELAND. McQuaid’s feature debut I Sell the Dead was a festival favorite that sold to IFC and is currently available to rent or buy at all decent retailers. He is currently curating TALES FROM BEYOND THE PALE, and developing various feature projects.

“Ghoulish” Gary Pullin is an award-winning freelance artist residing in Toronto Canada and has steadily carved out his own unique niche with-in the genre he loves – horror. In 2009 he was voted artist of the year at the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards, an organization which recognizes professionals working in the horror realm. For over ten years he made his mark as Art Director at Rue Morgue Magazine, the world’s leading genre publication dedicated to horror in culture and entertainment. His artwork and influence at Rue Morgue helped shape the ever-evolving face of horror, leading him to work with many notable contemporaries such as musician/filmmaker Rob Zombie and artist Mike Mignola (Hellboy), as well as the influences that inspired him to create in the first place, such as horror icons Clive Barker and Basil Gogos. Gary’s work has hung in galleries across the globe and has been published in numerous publications, such as Royal Flush and the heavy metal magazine Revolver. When he’s not making monsters, Gary is Rue Morgue’s resident art columnist for The Fright Gallery and has been interviewed for several genre-related documentaries, the latest being Fanboy Confessional – a TV series on SPACEchannel about fans and personalities with an undying love for counter-culture.”
