Tajana Prka

was born and raised in Munich, Germany, with Croatian parents. A painter, a singer and a violinist, she has always been gifted in the arts. As a young woman, Tajana attended the highly coveted Academy of Classical and Modern Ballet in Zagreb, Croatia.

Afterwards, she trained at the Munich drama academy “Schauspiel München.“ Since her graduation in 2006 she has had the pleasure of playing the lead in ten plays throughout Germany. She has been Helena in Goethe´s “Faust II,“ Viola in Shakespearke´s “Twelfth Night”, Polly Peachem and Sucky Tawdry in “The Beggars Opera,” and Desiree in “Krankheit der Jugend“ from Ferdinand Bruckner.

Herbert Fischer, a prominent director who has worked with Lee Strassberg, Peter Zadek, Augusto Fernandes and a frequent collaborator of Tajana’s says: “Tajana has unparalleled range. She is emotionally open, engaged in her work, and very reliable. To transform is an easy thing for her.”

Tajana also feels at home in LA where she has found a great inspiration at Two Lights Studio working with renowned acting teacher Judith Weston.
